THE INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tbsps. Sugar (because you’re sweet like that)

  • 1 orange, sliced (to add that winter citrus)

  • 1 cup orange juice (it’s giving sunny d)

  • 3 oz. brandy (finally, some booze!)

  • 1 bottle dry red wine (vino time amigo) *We recommend Longshot Pinot Noir (USA)

  • 1 cup cranberry juice (winter berry moment)

  • 2 apples, sliced or diced (an apple a day () keeps the dr. away)

  • 3 cinnamon sticks (add a little spice ())

  • 1 cup ice

GARNISH:

  • Star anise (if you’re feeling extra fancy)

RECOMMENDED GLASS: Wine glass

DIRECTIONS:

Start by adding that sugar, sugar to a pitcher and muddle it up with half of the sliced oranges with a muddler or a large wooden spoon. Then, pour in that OJ, brandy, wine and cranberry juice and stir, stir, stir it up to combine. Add in the fresh fruit, cinnamon sticks and ice and let the flavours mingle like their single. Give it a little taste and then adjust ratios to desired flavours if needed.

Now all that’s left is to pour into your glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick, orange slice, more ice and perhaps, if you’re fancy like that, star anise.
